Under the same meteorological conditions for drug protection, cotton fields with large populations, low terrain and prosperous populations are heavily polluted, and chemical agents should be sprayed from the end of July. It can be sprayed with 600% solution of 65% Daisen zinc water, or 400 times of wettable powder such as 50% methyl thiophanate or 50% mancozeb. The cotton boll on the fruit branches below the middle part of the cotton plant should be sprayed. Spray once every 7 to 10 days, even spray 2 to 3 times.

To reduce the humidity in the field, it is necessary to use the drainage ditch and mechanical pumping to drain the water as soon as possible. Conditional cotton-growing households can dig through the ditch to prevent waterlogging.

Improve the light transmission conditions in the field. The cotton bottom has poor light transmission. The cotton boll is susceptible to bacterial infection and causes rotten bells in a dark and humid environment. Empty branches, axillary buds, hair ears, and yellow leaves should be removed in time to enhance light transmission and reduce surface moisture.
