In order to facilitate comparison with sliding bearings; the conflicting moment of rolling bearings can be calculated according to the inner diameter of the bearing:

Here,
M: collision torque; mN. m
u: conflict coefficient; Table 1
P: bearing load; N
d: nominal bearing inner diameter; mm
The conflict coefficient u is greatly affected by the bearing type, bearing load, speed, smoothing method, etc.; the reference value of the conflict coefficient when the rotation is stable under normal conditions is shown in Table 1.
Regarding plain bearings; usually u=0.01-0.02; sometimes also 0. 1-0. 2.
