Market analysis
There are more than 10,000 registered woodworking pottery units in India, more than 2,00,000 carpenters and many other homes related to the sale and purchase of wood products.
The woodworking industry is one of the industries with rapid global economic development. The Indian timber market has huge business opportunities. The huge domestic demand has driven this rapid development. Since India's accession to the WTO, India has begun large-scale production of machinery to make up for the gap between supply and demand. More than 3,000 woodworking units have been mechanized, and the number continues to rise. The updating of technology and the expansion of capacity are the focus of the Indian wood industry today.
Judging from the current situation and development trend of the recovering Indian timber market, as a developing country, the urbanization process and the speed of housing construction have accelerated, which has led to the expansion of construction projects, and the demand for timber has increased; in addition, the country ’s rural population is large The amount of timber used in rural areas is huge. Especially in recent years, the growing scale of local exhibitions in India also shows that the Indian timber market has entered a stage of rapid development.
