Product Data Management Technology for PLM (2)
Process objects play an important role in project management of PLM systems. Often, in order to perform a project activity, a corresponding software tool is required, so an activity can be associated with a certain relevant application. In this way, according to the object activity parameters, the corresponding software tool can be directly started; at the same time, the project leader can also determine which project data should be used to establish which application software. Each process can be associated with a process group consisting of any number of PLM system users of different roles. Objects such as projects, processes, activities, and PLM system users can also be associated with a project calendar to understand the progress of projects, processes, and activities, and to compare actual progress against target progress. Once the PLM system user is associated with the project calendar object, various tasks can be assigned to the PLM system user without time conflicts. Figure 1 depicts the definition of specific objects in PLM project management. Through the above analysis of the relationship between project-related objects in the PLM system, the PLM system can use it for interactive project modeling. All plans, as well as the progress and time consumption calculated according to the project calendar, are used as attribute content and are also dynamically displayed. The actual start and end times and the information consumed are taken from the managed object activities and processes. Automated analysis of various important object properties allows you to submit reports on project status at any time. In the managed object activity, the performer is associated with the determined role, and also includes the determined costing price. Using this data, the actual labor costs can be calculated at each stage of project execution. The project data model analyzed above is the basis for project management of the PIII system, which helps to transparently monitor the progress of the project. As it continuously collects information on project schedule, resource consumption and cost, and compares the planned data with the actual data, it lays a good foundation for the successful implementation of the project and greatly shortens the execution of the project. Time, reduce the cost of the project and improve the quality of the project. 2.2 Project Management Model of PLM System According to the previous analysis of project management technology in PLM and the established project data model, the PLM system project management model shown in Figure 2 can be given. This model illustrates how the PIM system integrates the project model, process model, and product structure model for effective product development project management. The task structure of the project is reflected in the product structure to a certain extent. The main basis for defining the sub-tasks is the detailed product structure diagram. Each time a task is processed, a phase result in the product development process is obtained. Project process control is a project work process in which the project task is decomposed into a vertical axis and the task workflow is a horizontal axis. A workflow management module can be used to logically specify a processing order for each task, that is, each task in the project corresponds to a node in the workflow. The process for each task is done by a development team and has its own calendar. Team members can be assigned activities as needed, and whether members can accept assigned tasks depends on their personal calendar. When you perform task decomposition on a project, you can also allocate resources according to the needs of the task. The result of a work step or an activity can be used as the basis for a work step in another workflow. When the workflow of a task is over, a new component is added to the product model, so that the product structure becomes more and more complete as the project progresses. When the project ends, the complete product data is obtained. . Through this model, PLM can structure a product development project and its related data into an object-oriented project model, which can ensure comprehensive monitoring and control of the project. 3 Establishment of process information model for PLM The process information model is the foundation of the PLM-oriented system and the key to the integration and management of product life cycle information. The establishment of the process information model is mainly from two aspects: The first is to analyze the process business object entity; The second is to define the data model involved in the business object entity. 3.1 Process data analysis The content, results, and supporting data are analyzed one by one for the tasks decomposed in the model. Through analysis, the data of each character stage can be obtained, which can be divided into support data and result data. Supporting data is the data needed to complete the task; the resulting data is the result of the completion of the task. The results of the final analysis of each phase of the task are shown in Table 1. The process summary task in the table is the most important part of the process preparation process for PLM. In a broad sense, the process summary is a summary of the knowledge related to the process preparation work. Specifically, the process summary includes two aspects. One is to track the actual production process of a process, compare it with the old process, view the advantages and disadvantages, and finally evaluate the effectiveness of the process, generally occurring in the later stage of the process preparation cycle; The second is to extract valuable process knowledge in real time during the process preparation process.
