It can be seen that the competitive pressure in the international market continues to increase.

According to statistics, agricultural (including drinking water safety engineering, irrigation and drainage engineering) pipelines as well as municipal supply and drainage pipelines and building supply and drainage pipelines are still the main application areas of plastic pipelines. From the perspective of market demand and usage in 2016, agricultural applications reached 3.6 million tons, accounting for 25.1%, followed by municipal supply and drainage with 1.72 million tons and 1.44 million tons respectively, accounting for 12% and 10%.

Looking forward to the next few years, China's plastic pipe industry will still have better development opportunities, but the growth rate of the industry will further slow down, competition will further intensify, and the industrial restructuring of the industry will continue to deepen, shuffling and backward production capacity. Supply side upgrade smart manufacturing

At the exchange meeting two years ago, China's plastic pipe industry first proposed a new form of "quality assurance alliance" to unblock quality, which is a bottleneck restricting the development of the industry. After exploring the quality assurance alliance for water supply plastic pipe industry, the quality assurance alliance for gas pipelines for PE, and the quality assurance alliance for color masterbatches for plastic pipes and fittings, the quality assurance alliance model of this conference went further.

Quality assurance alliance is a new attempt and exploration of the development of the industry. At present, the quality level of plastic pipes in China's market is still uneven.
