To this end, the base introduced a small feed processing unit, which mainly includes three parts: crusher, hoist, mixer. Its selection and installation techniques are as follows:

1. grinder

The pulverizer is the most commonly used feed processing machine. At present, there are mainly hammer mills and roller mills. The pulverizer can pulverize the raw materials into granules of different sizes according to various feeding requirements. The amount of machining per hour varies depending on the model of the machine, and the type of motor used is different. It can be purchased according to the scale of farming. The general chicken factory should purchase two units, one for use, one for standby.

2. Mixer

Divided into two kinds of conventional feed mixers and additive mixers. Conventional feed mixers are available in both vertical and horizontal styles. The stirring time of the vertical mixer is generally 15 minutes to 20 minutes, and the horizontal machine is about 10 minutes. When mixing the compound feed, it should be stirred in batches. The advantages of the vertical mixer are uniform mixing and low power consumption. The disadvantages are long mixing time, low productivity, and insufficient loading and discharging. The main working part of the horizontal mixer is the agitating blades. The blades are divided into inner and outer layers, and their spiral directions are opposite. During the work, the leaves stir the feed to make the inner and outer layers of the feed move relative to each other to achieve the purpose of mixing. The advantages of the horizontal mixer are high efficiency, rapid loading and discharging, and the disadvantages are large power consumption, large floor space and high price, so it is generally used less.

3. Lifting machine It is divided into bucket elevator and spiral elevator. Generally, spiral elevator is used.

The order of installation of the feed processing unit is generally to install the pulverizer first, and then install the motor and the transmission belt. The mixer is installed next to the pulverizer so that the discharge port of the pulverizer is just connected to the inlet of the mixer. The hoist can be connected to the pit and the inlet of the pulverizer.

During processing, the main raw material is poured into the pit, the hoist lifts the raw material into the crusher, and then enters the mixing chamber of the mixer. Other raw materials can be directly poured into the mixing bin by the feeding port.
