Overload load The specific elastic component product is subjected to an instantaneous load or a test period during which it is allowed to exceed the rated load without damage, failure, and load bearing capacity at the time of instability. For instrument elastic sensitive components, the overload capacity is generally limited to 125% of the rated load. Bellows components used in engineering are generally limited to 150% of rated load. According to the engineering requirements, when a large safety factor is required, the elastic component used does not allow any overload, so the load must be less than or equal to the rated load. Displacement The position of a metal bellows and a particular point (free end or center) in the elastic element changes. According to its motion trajectory, it can be divided into line displacement and angular displacement. Under the action of external load, the metal bellows may produce axial displacement, angular displacement and lateral displacement. Rated displacement The displacement values ​​caused by the metal bellows and the elastic members under the rated load, that is, the working displacements they are allowed to produce under normal use conditions. Overload displacement All types of elastic components are allowed to withstand the rated displacement at the moment of operation or during the test. In the event of overload displacement, the elastic element should not be damaged, failed, unstable or the like. For instrument elastic sensitive components, the overload displacement is generally limited to 125% of the rated displacement.
