The system printer configures the system printer.

The wizard will prompt you to select the printer configured in the Windows operating system and specify the name of the printer.

Click Next and select the port.

Click Next to name the plotter name.

Then select the "Finish" button to end the wizard.

2. Plotter Configuration Editor

When adding a printer above, Zhongwang CAD will save the configuration file in the PC5 file format according to the given file name. The file is stored in the Zhongwang CAD 2009 ChsPlotters subdirectory.

If desired, you can use the Plotter Configuration Editor to modify plotter port connections and output settings for PC5 files, including media, graphics, custom features, and user-defined paper sizes.

The plotter configuration editor can be opened in the following ways:

Select Edit Plotter Configuration from the Add Plotter wizard.

Select Properties in the Page Setup dialog.

Select Properties in the Print dialog box.

The plotter configuration editor contains three tabs, which are:

The Basics tab contains basic information about the configuration file.

The Ports tab contains communication information between the printing device and the computer.
