China's power supply reliability has steadily increased
According to the data released by the China Electricity Council (hereinafter referred to as “CECâ€) yesterday, in the first half of this year, the reliability rate of electricity supply for urban users in the national power supply system was 99.922%, an increase of 0.01% year-on-year; the average power outage for users was 3.41 hours. The year-on-year decrease was 0.41 hours.

In recent years, the time for blackout of urban users in China has been declining year by year. In 2009, the average annual outage time of urban users in the country was 9.11 hours, which was 2.96 hours less than in 2008. This figure was still more than 20 hours in 2006 and 13.19 hours in 2007.
