From garbage to energy, it is the key technology and industrialization of “10,000-ton mixed waste plastic gasification and oil production” developed by Zhejiang Langkun after 8 years of research and development. The project technology relies on Hangzhou University of Electronic Science and Technology. At the provincial project evaluation meeting in May this year, it was recognized by three academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Two of the core technologies were identified as international leaders. “The core of the technology is to reversely recycle the mixed waste. In the low temperature and anaerobic environment, the polymer is reduced to low molecular weight, and the inorganic substances such as organic matter and metal are separated without loss, and finally solid carbon, liquid oil and gaseous non-condensable gas are formed. Realize 100% recycling of waste.” Yu Tianming, the relevant person in charge of the company, said that it can process 10,000 tons of waste plastic annually.

Walking through the entire production base, I barely smelled a trace of odor. Originally, the non-condensable gas was purified and used as a clean energy source for the whole plant, achieving recycling. The production line adopts intelligent automatic control. The entire assembly line can only be operated by 4 to 5 operators, such as “feeding” and machine room monitoring. Yu Tianming said that the company is undergoing technology upgrades and plans to expand the scope of waste resource conversion, change the use of waste aluminum, plastic tires, waste tires, and waste resins to make more garbage into clean energy.
