What is thermal spray technology?

Therefore, the feed thermal spray technology is completed by a special thermal spray device and its unique process flow. At present, the domestically produced feed heat spray machine is invented by the Inner Mongolia Animal Science Academy. The hot spray type 6 feed processing machine produced by the Hohhot Boiler Factory is actually a batch air flow extruder.

2. Working principle When the material is sprayed by thermal spray, the lignin is melted at high temperature by using the thermal effect of steam, the cellulose molecules are broken and degraded, and at the same time, the pressure is suddenly relieved due to high pressure, and internal friction force is generated to blast the cellulose cells. The tear, the cell wall is loose, which changes the overall structure of the crude fiber and the molecular structure of the chemical chain. Because in the hot spray treatment, the material is subjected to a state of 1 to 15 minutes, a pressure of 0.39 to 1.18 MPa, a temperature of 145 to 190 ° C, and a water content of 25% to 40% in the high pressure tank, so that the interstitial lignin is dissolved in the material fiber. The hydrogen chain is broken and the crystallinity of the fiber is lowered. When suddenly exploding, the lignin will melt, and at the same time, the decomposition reaction of several high-molecular substances occurs. Then, through the mechanical effect of the explosion, the stress concentrates on the fragile structural area of ​​the molten lignin, resulting in looseness between the walls, cell free, and substance. The granules will suddenly become smaller, and the total area will increase, thereby achieving the softness and aroma of the texture, and improving the feed intake and digestibility of the straw feed by the livestock.

3. The structure and process of the thermal spray device of the thermal spray device: the raw materials are chopped by a mower, loaded into a storage tank, and loaded into a pressure tank installed underground in a batch through a feed funnel. After sealing and passing through 0.5~1.0 MPa of low and medium pressure steam (steam is supplied by the boiler and controlled by the intake valve), after maintaining for a period of time (ranging from 1 to 30 minutes), the discharge valve is controlled and decompressed. Spraying, the straw enters the venting tank through the discharge pipe. The sprayed straw can be directly fed or pressed. The productivity of the equipment when spraying straw is 300-400 kg per hour, the coal consumption is 50 kg/hr, and the cost of hot-spraying 1 ton corn stove is about 20 yuan.

4. Effect of thermal spray After the hot spray, the physical properties of the straw changed, the whole plant feeding rate increased from 50% to over 90%, and the digestibility increased by more than 50%. The thermal spray device can also detoxify the rapeseed cake and the cottonseed cake, deodorize and sterilize the feces, and make it a normal protein feed. Studies have shown that the thermal spray process conditions mainly include three elements. That is, the pressure of the treatment, the holding time and the discharge pressure. Therefore, the effect of the thermal spray is to select the appropriate three indicators mentioned above and their application. After exploration, the medium-pressure zone (1.57~3.33 MPa) and short-term (1~5 minutes) treatment of various types of straw (except sunflower dish) digestibility have been greatly improved. However, when applied in production, due to factors such as equipment safety, price and management, low pressure (less than 1.57 MPa) and long time (3 to 10 minutes) treatment processes are used, and the digestibility is improved. The amplitude is smaller than the medium pressure zone (about 60% to 80% of the effect of the central zone), but it is suitable for the actual situation in China.
