There are "six bogey" for applying fertilizer to vegetables.

One avoids the application of ammonium nitrate in leafy vegetables. Cabbage, Chinese cabbage, leeks, spinach, celery, spinach, etc., short growing period, easy to absorb nitrate nitrogen fertilizer. For example, if ammonium nitrate is applied, the green leaf vegetables absorb nitrate ions, which are consumed for a long time, and the salt enters the human body, causing cumulative poisoning.

Second, avoid applying urea after watering. The nitrogen component in urea is an amide. Under the action of urease secreted by soil microorganisms, the ammonia nitrogen is converted into ammonium carbonate or ammonium hydrogencarbonate, which is absorbed and utilized by vegetable roots, or adsorbed and stored in soil. If the urea is applied immediately after watering or encounters rain, the nitrogen in the amide state will be lost. Therefore, whether the urea is used as the base fertilizer or top dressing, it should be applied for 5-7 days after the application, so that it can be completely converted and then watered. So as not to cause losses.

Three bogey repeated application of ammonium sulfate. In acid soil or calcareous vegetable fields, if the ammonium sulfate is applied multiple times in succession, the acidic soil will become more acidic and the calcareous soil will be corroded, which will hinder the normal growth of vegetables.

Four bogey vegetables lack water to apply ammonium bicarbonate. The ammonium bicarbonate is extremely unstable and volatile, especially in the case of drought and water shortage in vegetable fields, the loss is more serious. Therefore, the application of ammonium bicarbonate in vegetable fields, whether as base fertilizer or top dressing, should be carried out in the wet condition of the vegetable field, and the soil should be covered immediately after application. In case of dry weather, water can be applied or watered.

Five bogey overdrinking calcium. In the case of a large amount of phosphate fertilizer, the supply of phosphate fertilizer is excessive, especially in the case of more than 40 kg per acre, which will seriously affect the growth and development of vegetables, causing premature aging of vegetables, poor growth, reduced yield, and poor quality. Generally, 15-20 kg per mu is good, and melon and fruit vegetables can be applied more appropriately.

Six bogey green leaf dishes spray high concentration of nitrogen fertilizer. If it is sprayed on the leaf surface with urea, ammonium sulfate and other solutions, although it can make the young leaves of the vegetable, the color is good, the yield is significantly increased, but the content of nitrate on the green leafy vegetables will increase significantly, causing the vegetables to be contaminated and affecting human health. .
