To this end, I took advantage of the opportunity of the domestic CAD brand representative - Zhongwang CAD2009 has been officially launched, to introduce the functional characteristics of Zhongwang CAD2009 one by one, so that everyone can better understand and use domestic software.

In the previous article, I introduced the tool palette of Zhongwang CAD2009. In this article, I will discuss with you how to apply Zhongwang CAD2009 to realize the creation of templates and the application of viewports.

In our application of the CAD software, we will see that the entire drawing interface has two parts, one is the model space (Model), and the other is the layout space (Layout). Many designers I contact have a habit of applying layout space for drawing. In fact, this is a wrong approach. The application of layout space is on printing, not on drawing drawings.

Creation of a template

Templates are an important part of our drawing process, which saves the layers, line styles, dimension styles, and frames we use often. And the template file will be stored in the software in .dwt format, we can directly call when the application is in progress.

Ps: All of the following operations are performed in the software layout interface.

Open the software, we can see the layer's toolbar at the top of the entire interface, we click on the layer property manager button to enter the software's layer manager interface. In this interface, we can set the layer name, color, line width and other styles. Figure 1

The determination of the annotation style is also relatively simple. We only need to click the icon in the annotation toolbar in the interface. Of course, we can also find the annotation style manager in the style toolbar or the annotation menu. In this, we only need to set the content we need, as shown in Figure 2.
