According to the meshing analysis, the meshing limit line is not present on the tooth surface when the angle of intersection S=15°, so the angle of the honing wheel head of the machine tool is adjusted to 15°. The diamond shaping roller is mounted on the workpiece holder, and the machine tool is driven, and the inner grinding wheel is fed along the center distance until the contact pressure between the inner grinding wheel and the tooth surface reaches the requirement. After the inner honing wheel is finished, the diamond shaping roller is replaced with a self-made gear test piece and processed to the required size of the drawing. The tooth profile and tooth orientation accuracy of the test piece gear are measured. The tooth profile curve of the test piece gears before and after the internal meshing teeth is shown in Fig. 2. The test results show that the modification precision of the self-made diamond shaping roller reaches the processing precision requirement, which is equivalent to the quality of the Swiss imported shaping roller. Based on the application of the gear-type diamond-shaped wheel to trim the inner honing wheel, the Dalian Machine Tool Factory Gear Branch has applied it to the dressing of the external honing wheel, and it has also achieved very obvious effects. The precision of the machined gears is different. The degree of improvement has changed the conventional view that the externally engaged jaw machining only improves the surface finish of the hardened gear.
The tooth decay test was carried out on the Y4632A external meshing gear machine of Dalian Machine Tool Plant. The C620 head box gear was processed with the modified external honing wheel. The test conditions and steps were similar to the internal meshing tooth test. The test results show that the tooth profile, tooth direction and base joint accuracy of the specimen after honing are significantly improved. The overall noise of the head box using the honing gear is about 3 to 5 decibels lower than that of the head box using the spur gear. .
4 Conclusion
In recent years, Swiss Rashoer has used the RZP of the toroidal worm wheel grinding machine with the external meshing gear to form a new gear finishing machine RZF. The precision of the gears processed by this process can reach more than 5 grades, the processing of the tooth surface texture is complicated, the gear transmission noise is extremely low, and the processing efficiency is also high (the annual output of the second shift system can reach 15 to 200,000 pieces). Both the toroidal worm wheel and the outer honing wheel used in the process are trimmed with a gear-type diamond-shaped shaping roller. The materials and formulations of the honing wheel are important for improving the machining accuracy of the honing wheel. Increasing the proportion of abrasive content and reducing the content of epoxy resin can reduce the deformation of the honing wheel and improve the cutting performance of the honing wheel. The use of abrasives of different particle sizes, or the addition of a small amount of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) to the abrasive, can improve the self-sharpness of the honing wheel. The molar is a kind of micro-grinding processing, and the boring allowance is small, so the precision of the workpiece to be smashed is high (generally, the precision before sputum is lower than the final precision).
The gear-type diamond shaping roller is used for precision shaping of the inner and outer meshing honing wheels, which can significantly improve the machining accuracy of the boring teeth and has wide application prospects in the hard tooth gear finishing.
