Second, look at the growth    Under normal circumstances, growth and appearance are unified, but in the case of high temperature, sufficient fertilizer and water, high density and insufficient light, it may grow strong and look bad; when the soil is dry or the temperature is low, it may look good and grow. Not prosperous.

 

Third, look at the leaf color    Leaf color dark green at seedling stage is a normal expression of nitrogen metabolism. At the jointing stage, the growth of young ears and stems and leaves was greatly accelerated, and the carbon and nitrogen metabolism was dominant, and the leaves turned dark green. After flowering, the main carbohydrate is formed and transported to the grain, and the leaf color becomes lighter. If the leaf color is not deep, it indicates insufficient nutrition and poor growth. However, the depth of leaf color will vary from breed to breed and should be noted during diagnosis.
