Unlike the previous Beijing Essen Welding Exhibition, the number of companies producing copper-free wire is increasing rapidly. This trend is indeed gratifying.
Compared with the copper-plated wire, the GMAW non-coppered wire has a smaller splash, and the most direct performance of the weld is that the wettability of the weld is better, the weld is smoother, and the weld of the copper-plated wire The metal will bulge. Therefore, the formation of the non-coppered copper wire after welding is more beautiful, the smoothness is good, and the welded joint is more white. In addition, the non-coppered wire has good electrical conductivity. There is no arcing caused by the conduction problem in the use of the test and the engineering trial; the advantage is especially prominent in the small current working condition; the Zhejiang Seiko welding test confirms that the GMAW method uses GMAW without welding copper wire when the welding current is 80A. The welding stability is much better than the GMAW copper plating wire.
Compared with GMAW copper-plated wire, GMAW non-coppered wire has good welding process performance, low spatter and welding fumes during welding, and good weld formability, which completely solves the copper pollution problem in the production and use of welding wire. Most of the factors that affect the environmental pollution and the welder's body are excluded.
In the welding research of high-strength steel, it is concluded that the non-coppered copper wire is especially suitable for automatic robot welding; according to the needs and research direction of the new pulse welding machine, a new type of copper-free wire and 20% CO2+80% Ar double is adopted. As the protective gas of the test, the quality and efficiency of welding high-strength steel plate joints were remarkable, and the test was successful.
